The Dairy Extension program of the College of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Florida aims to strengthen the Southeast’s dairy industry sustainability and competitiveness through regional leadership in continuing education.
Ricardo C Chebel, a professor of Cattle Health and Welfare, leads the Dairy Extension initiatives in the College of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Florida. Ricardo C Chebel is actively engaged in extension programs regionally, nationally, and internationally. The objectives of the Dairy Extension program are to provide educational leadership and assistance to the dairy industry in matters related to health, welfare, management, dairy metrics, and employee training.
