Get ready! Join us for the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine’s 16th Annual Healthy Horses Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on FRIDAY, July 12, 2024!
Healthy Horses is an educational day with a focus on successful equine health care. The day includes lectures, lunch and live equine demonstrations. It is open to equine enthusiasts everywhere, and we are pleased to offer this educational program at the beautiful Straughn Center and UF College of Veterinary Medicine! Lunch and door prizes are also included in the registration. Lectures are delivered by faculty of UF’s Large Animal Hospital, and a brief summary folder of the lectures will be provided to all attendees. Topics this year include laceration care, neck pain care, equine allergies and fly products, first aid, equine uveitis, toxic plants, and more!
The University of Florida is dedicated to improving owner education and we hope you will make this an annual event. It is a wonderful opportunity to see our hospital facility and meet veterinarians from all of our services. Plenty of time for questions will be provided. Registration is limited so please register soon! We hope to see you in July!
